My favourite green Casio watch died on me today. And looking at it brings back many memories...
It was a present from my most beloved Xiao Yi. Her favourite green colour. And when the watch just died on me this morning, I was brought to the fact that Xiao Yi is no longer around...
Just like the watch; no more life, no more energy; the mechanics within no longer working.
The only difference is that it could be given a new life simply by just changing a new battery. but Xiao Yi could no longer be here with us.
Especially now where Chinese New Year is around the corner, she just seems to be at every little thing. Paining our nails so that we could be pretty from head to toes, driving us out at midnight to Chinatown for shopping at the CNY night market. Packing the Oh-so-cute ttm 红包 for all the kids.
I'm really missing her so much...
