Went to Gu Gu's house on Christmas eve for dinner.
Food was great and stufff. But we were too excited to go over to ECP for BBQ and stayover spent more time there to play Wii.

Was a littler disappointed when we reached ECP as there was practically no BBQ food other than corn and potato! -_-''' Only got YTF! lol....

But it was fun throwing water balloons at people! Hahahahahaha...
My cousins and siblings were totally wet, and I missed all the fun cuz I couldn't get wet because of hem hem and i never bring another full set of clothing. Will so bring FULL SET of change of clothing. think will wear swim suit below or smt.

WILL BE HAVING ANOTHER BBQ FOR 2010 COUNTDOWN!
this time the KIDS!!!, will be planning the BBQ and will MAKE SURE that there is BBQ FOOD! haha. and i think we will be going bowling or smt before the BBQ! yeah!!! haha.

FISHING - grossed out!

Went to GZ daddy's kelong with GZ, Ching Eh and Mrs Sam & family. Mrs Sam's son was super duper about fishing. Poor Gary have to run here and there, cut the bait, hook the bait, get the fish off the hook, kill the fish, scale the fish, clean the fish and a lot more things.

TOTALLY GROSSED OUT by Gary's chopping fish skill... ewwwwwWWWW

Haha, but had fun today just relaxing there. The boat ride was fun with Gary going a full speed. (actually i dont think it was full, cuz if not I won't be here typing this blog post with Gary steering the boat) Anw, the boat was not what Karol imagine it to be. Haha. but it was fun never the less. Now we just have to wait for Gary to get his licence to operate the bigger boat. :D

Got a morning call at 4.30am by Gary Zhang.
Woke up at 5am to get ready.
GZ came to fetch me at 5.30am
Then went to pick Ching Eh.
Reached Karol's house at 7.30am
And gave her a big humongous SURPRISE BIRTHDAY!!! :D

And then went to study for next day exam... :(

Totally need to video down Karol's shock process for making us wake up so early.

but just being with my close ones and doing lame stuff in a TOYOTA RUSH packed with 7 people makes me so over the moon...

went to eat tao hua after a really SHINGZS sight seeing... AHEM. went to a street that starts with a letter "G".

tao hua drink not nice. never going back ever again.

reached home at midnight... going to botanic garden at 8am ltr.

hope we can keep on doing stuff like this FOREVER... totally LOVE THEM :D

haha. WE (me and Ching Eh) were so bored in class that we had to entertain our self by 自hinging. it all started out with a CLEAN lecture pad cover with just my name on it. which you will totally not be able to see. but fyi, if you can find my name (Chia Hui Ru), it was just above it. the first thing that went up was the Chia Hui Ru. then GZ's face, then description, then Ching Eh wanted to claim the lecture pad as her own. So we started on who's name is the biggest owns the lecture pad - COVER. and the result is.... *drum roll....* ME! :D "yay me!" haha. got it from Zac and Cody... so funny!! :D

HIP HOP YO!

MY NEW NIKE RED BILNK BLING DUNK!!!

Dunk was on my buying list for quite a while but definitely not the top until I decided to try out hip hop lesson with Karol. LOVE the blinkness and RAD-ness. whoo! HOT!! ~~

Got it ytd at queensway shopping center.

First Hip Hop beginner class at Natasha Studio by Melissa was good. Was just too tired from ESCAPADE to really enjoy the process. And I was not in the right attire.

NEED TO GO HIP HOP SHOPPING FOR PANTS AND BIG TEES!

And I realise I can't coordinate my body well. Urgh! Irritated!!! its so hard to move your head left and right without the help of your hands a few inches beside your ears. Will definitely be more prepared for the second lesson!!!

SHOPPING TIME!

Went to IKEA to have lunch with grandparents, aunt and siblings.

Went walk walk around after lunch and I saw a clock that's BIG!

And we found a lost rat hiding among some coaster. think they are cheese I suppose??

Brother bought a cap at queensway shopping ctr for S$25. the guy said it came in the morning and its the only piece and so will not clash with others. i think its quite nice :D

Had tea at TCC. the coffee with jelly was good. sort of similar to the one at StarBuck. ROCKS!

Ching Eh, Gary Zhang and Kai Liang are at my house playing MJ while waiting to go to VIVO at 3AM to help out at ESCAPADE...

Being less then 5cm in length, it was found outside our classroom during PM II.

and i let it craw on my hands. and Karol was freaked out by it at first but then was amused my how light and weightless it felt on her hands. from the first picture you can see how Karol was trying to figure the little green fighting insect out. part of our daily class entertainment brought to us by Zheng Lin and his tiny creatures. :D

A levels made me think back to the days in PL where I studies 4 years and graduated with an O'level cert.
I know everyone in JC is rather stressed out by it now, but I would like to remind my PLMGSS classmates/schoolmates as well as all my friends who are in the mist of A'level examination now that God in with you and YOU CAN DO IT!
Is was quite random that I just thought of this verse that we would always see before our test or exams on the exam timetable and I hope you guys out there striving hard can work on it!

Train Of Terror, as implied by its name, is suppose to scare the hell out of you. But to my surprise, it wasn't as bad as it sounds. It was kind of thrilling :D
Went to the Night Safari ytd to join in the fun of the Halloween Party but the weather was really disappointing. the sky was still bright and clear the whole morning and it started pouring cats and dogs on our way there in the evening. and it was really damp and wet and down and .... and our feelings were just as low...

many of the attractions were unable to be carried out due to the rain, take for example the train of terror. as well as the bridge of no return. we set the normal tramp TWICE and can almost rmb what animal will be coming up next.

since all the excitements were "closed", the "ghost" were all "hiding" from the rain in the shelter, where we all could see them. but they were still SCARYYY!!! thought some were kinda cute :D take a look below:

which is the path that leads us to the start of the bridge of no return. as i've mention earlier, all the scarers are hiding from the rain, there was no one to freak us out, but we still turned back not even halfway down the trail.
NOT THAT WE WERE AFRAID....
well, we were kinda freaked out by their fake decoration. (really scary, really cool, really disgusting.)
and secondly, the ground was wet and muddy and we don't wanna dirty our shoes.


anyway, we still managed to catch the Train Of Terror in the end.
almost went home after dinner but THANK GOD that the rain stopped which allowed the activities to go on. and somehow we bored on the tramp with the same tour guide that we set for the second time. so we totally predicted his words :D well, for the animal intro part. and he really did a good job in creating the atmosphere during the Halloween part of the ride :D
took one last picture with Tin Man with Dangling out Heart before bidding farewell to Night Safari! The time spent with my friends was worth the $35 plus cab fare home... (thou a little sad still)

Industry Training Programme

Its just so random that i'm updating my blog.
And the reason that i'm doing it is because i've practically nth to do in the office.
Therefore i shall...
Ok, now I just got smt to do so shall blog about my ITP life ltr.
Cuz i'm comfirm i will have nth to do ltr on.

CONTINUED AT ANOTHER TIME...
(cuz i was too lazy to even touch the com...)

today is the last day of ITP and i practically have nth much to do.
other than stick acrylic.
just wanna note done some of the things that I have done so that when I look back at least there's some sort of memory.
through this 6 weeks of ITP, I have learnt things that are not taught in school as well as realised that the modules that i have been through are usefull.
the only thing that I felt was a pity was that I was not able to be involve in the planning process of any event. really could be able to learn more things that will be very good for my course of study.
however, I would still like to thank my ITP compang, SPACELogic, for the things that they have done as well as all that I have learnt from the people and their experience.
hope that whatever that I have gained from them can benefit me in the future! :D

Post Logistic & Accounts exam activities.

No idea why i feel suddenly feel like updating my bog.
anyway. exams are not over yet but i/m totally in the holiday mood already.
went out orchard today.
meet with karol at 2 plus at far east.
went to try out a blue dance costume.
i quite like it in a way that its kinda special.
it only has fringes at the back from waste down.
totally BLINK-ed and its like $499.
i think its worth considering. but i'm still not too sure.
then skinny joined us and we walk walk some more.
then meet up with ching eh, kai liang and gary for swensen's ice cream buffet.
YAY!! THANK YOU GARY FOR THE TREAT!! :D
about the buffet, i woud rate it the most *****
reason being i dont really like the variety and the way they serve it.
its literally buffet style and we have to get the food on our own.
i would rather order it from the menu and have them serve it the way they usually do.
like the fondue. instead of the choco fountain, y not just serve it like the normal way.
idk, but if it was not for the 1-for-1 promo. i dont think i would even try it out.
and there wasen't really that much variety.
but overall the food was not too bad and we had a fun time :)
then went over to cine to take NEO-PRINT!
it was like ages since the last time i took it. OMG!
haha. really at a lost of how to deco the pic. sry :P
then went around walking while gary was having a hair cut.
then walk somemore before going home.
and karol was damn excited about going home to stick her blink blink sticker onto her phone. =_='''

My fire for dance is fading...

Not because I don't LOVE dancesport anymore.
It's just that the people in dance are not the same anymore.
I really dont understand why people NEED to change just cuz they have more power and authority over others.
I like the status that we had when I first joined dance.
why do i have to be pissed over decisions that I have no idea why it affects me so much?
I do not NOT like the people in the committee.
its just they way they operate that irritates.
why is it that they are not sure of everything.
why is it that every time i ask for more details they will reply, "i have no idea too"?
then who can i ask to get answers to my doubts???
why is it that the things that i should know gets to me most of the time at the very last min.
and that they update us via means of e-mail mostly?
and when we get info last min, our other plans gets affected??
is it because that we are the only minor few that are not in the committee that we missed out a lot of things that we should be ABLE to know asap??
why cant they just make announcements as well as send e-mails??
it's not like we only meet once in a blue moon or smt.
we meet like THREE times a week!!!
and since committee meeting is on wednesday, why can't they inform us of the club update on thursday?
and I understand formation training is impt for performance, and that it is impt for us to attend.
but what if we have smt on that has nth to do with school and stuff?
why cant work be a reason to miss formation training?
not everyone is as rich. is it wrong to work or attend other things.
why must dancesport be everything in our life?
why can't it be just a passion and part of our life?
does it means that putting all efforts into dancesport and causing it to affect our studies and life is good?
why can't it be a free and easy thing that allows us to enjoy dancing?
shoulden it be the case?? to fully feel that joy of dancesport and not stressing over it?

i'm suppose to go for extra dancesport lesson today which i'm suppose to pay.
at the last min i have smt impt to do which disable me to attend.
i informed the in charge a few hours b4 the lesson that begins at 3 plus and i was being told at 4 plus that i still have to pay cuz the association has already paid for me.
but it just doesn't make sense to pay for a lesson which i did not attend.
and the reply was that nvm if i'm still against the whole thing... then the club will fork out my share.
so what was i suppose to reply??
"oh, its okey. i shall just pay." OR, "okey. thank you? :)"?
first off, i'm not against anyone or anything.
this is just another example that they don't find out things properly.
how am i suppose to know that the course fee has already been paid and that i still have to pay even if i don't attend when they themselves also only found out after they went there.
i'm sure these info could be found out b4 the lesson even started.
i'm just frustrated with why it is affecting so much. causing me to not feel like going for dance.
and i mean NOT GOING FOR DANCE. and not DON'T FEEL LIKE DANCING.

haven been home for 5 days cuz I was having DANCESPORT CAMP.
well, which includes 1 day of pre-camp on the 7th june and 1 day of sleepover just to be able to make it i time for the earliest performance ever.

dance camp was GOODDD.

anyway, just wanna thank my group for being so co-operative throughout the camp.

camp was fun "disturbing" the campers.

night walk was not as scary as what we had to go through last year.
last year was freaking freaky and damn tiring.
we all had fun learning and dancing to k.Pop music.
and the juniors now have their own ritual. yeah!!!

after break camp, we had kimchi maggie steamboat to celebrate for a camp well done.
i still managed to ate quite a bit cuz it was damn nice event though i had subway just before it.
had formation practice and then went home and then went back to school to stayover so that we can get ready for the 8.15am performance. (which was ytd, thursday)
had to wake up at 6 plus to get ready and stuff.
and yay!! i managed to do most of my make-up on my own.
its wasen't nice nice, but well, good enough for a first try.
the performance was good but i forgot a turn :(
so sorry people!!!!
went for SIWW [Singapore International Water Week] briefing/training and they brought us to 3 places for tour etc.
went to marina barrage, then newater visitor centre before our last stop at changi WRP.
was nine (*suppose to be nice), as said by mr.kai liang. [ps. inside joke]
went back to school for dance lesson and by the time i got home, totally shag-ed

but i still took my own sweet time to get ready for bed, which i like went to sleep at 1am plus.
then woke up at 7.30am this morning for another SIWW briefing/training that starts at 9am.
stayed till after lunch before I had to leave to get ready for another performance.
then went back to the briefing again at 3plus before going for formation training at 6plus.
so tiredddddd!!!!!

there's this one time while i was going to school,
i was changing train from the purple to the green line at outram.
and at that particular door that i got out from,
the idiot people outside the train just stupidly block the whole door.
which cause the people inside the train having a hard time getting out.
and in the end.......
not all passengers alighting at outram park got out.
AND NONE OF THE PEOPLE OUTSIDE THE TRAIN GOT IN TOO!!! LOL!!!
so stupid right! irritat!

so people out there who loves to block the door!
can you all please learn to give way??!!.
i'm quite happy that now they have the phua chu kang advertisement on letting the alighting passengers get off the train first before boarding.

HAPPY 22nd BIRTHDAY
TO MY DANCE PARTNER :)

ytd's dance lesson was fun.
the freshies came for trial/orientation and they learned cha cha basic.
had fun playing ice breaker game.
glad that most were rather enthu (:
had fun doing and teaching them our dancesport ritual. haha.
but the teaching of the cha cha basic was a little too fast.
rather hard for most of them to catch.
in the end most were just stepping here and there.
but it wasn't too bad. think they had fun.
hope most of them will stay in SPDS! :D

and i did a small mistake during the cha cha formation performance. :p
oopsy... must focus!!!! orientation and timing!!!!
did a little more on cha cha routine after the freshies went back.
left at bout 9.30pm. and reached home bout 11pm.
started on my Cross Cultural Studies tutorial at 12am and finally went to sleep at 2.30am.
this sucks can! cuz it ended up with me can't think properly for like the ending half of today.
karol totally "blank out" during Public Relation tutorial.
and i reached home to find myself taking a nap before dinner.
hope that i dont have to stay up till so late for tutorial.
especially when its for smt that i don't even know how to write my comment.
my mind was totally blank when i was finishing the essay.
enough about school work! going to play facebook how :)

DANCE SHOE

I got a new dance shoe!!! YAY!
really don't know why i didden got it during feb.
i rmb looking at it but then decided not to get it.
but here i am getting it at $65! (:
its the same design as karol's. (she got a new one today too)
but there is a strap and the heel that is diff in colour.
somehow i didden feel as excited as i was when i got my first dance shoe.
its kinda of like i HAVE TO GET a new dance shoe.
not because i really wanted it.
so i think that's why i don't feel so happy bout it just now.
well, think i'm beginning to like it.
hopefully it can last me for quite a while.
and i still hope to find a dance shoe that i really love.
thought i saw one at the shop but there wasn't my size and it cost $165 or smt.
so much $$$$$$$$!
i was happier when i finally bought a new dance skirt cuz my other one went missing.
lalala. excited to wear my dance shoe for technique lesson 2moro.
hope it wont hurt that much...

My First SPDS performance!

CCA Drive is finally overrrr!
and i finally got time to update my blog.
performed on thursday in school.
OMG can. i kinda screw up a bit. but i think it wasn't too bad though i could have done better.
well done ppl. we got like "58 guys" ~ quoted from Gary Ng.
damn tiring the past 2 days plus today.
had dance lesson after the cca drive on wed and thur.
technique lesson was muscles cramming.
and thurs samba cause me to have further whole body aching.

back to the performance part.
I LOOK DIFFERENT WITH MAKE-UP!
took so long to get ready just for that 3mins on stage.
think this performance did make me feel a little more confident bout myself.
somehow lar. just that small little bit.

WE ARE FINALY LEARNING SUMBA NOW. SO HAPPY!!!
AND I NEED A NEW DANCE SHOE!
its like giving me problems. i cant balance properly. and the strap gave me a blister since wed.
which sucks cuz i continue dancing and the stupid blister got worse.
donno why but i feel really left out or smt when they having comm meeting after dance.
its like we have been going for almost every dance lesson and club activity.
and we even help ppl find partner!!! we rock. haha.
but its like we are not that much part of the club anymore.
it makes me... sad ):

but but but but but...
i think us keep on going for dance without a partner for the past few mth really awesome.
its really hard dancing and practicing without a partner. so now that i finally have a partner, i need to work extra hard to get all me techniques right even thou cliff is giving me intense training which is almost killing my legs and arms.


painting nails makes me happier :D

i have been thinking bout this for a while. and gave a really long thought if i should post what i feel. and i figure out this is the only way to let me say what u really have to say.

for one thing i am sure of: dancesport is my LOVE. and i really enjoy dancing.
being partner-less for a while does not and has not stopped me from attending dance lesson and practice. but recently, i really don't feel like part of the dancesport club.

i don't understand why 90% oc of the dancesport camp has to be from the main club committee. i have no idea who choose the oc but why cant the other ppl in the club be given a chance to be part of the club activity. there are so MANY other ppl that they/you can choose from. i don't know why i feel this way, but it makes me feel like we, those who are not in the main comm, are not part of the dancesport family. i don't know how the others feel but this is what i personally feel about the club and its decisions. AND THIS IS NOT BECAUSE I'M NOT BEING CHOSEN TO BE IN THE COMM.

another thing i know of is that the club is trying to change the system. that we are trying to do a better job in running the club. but till now i don't even know who is holding what position in the comm. i can kinda guess who's in the comm, but not whose who. get what i mean?

what i'm trying to say is that can spds club be less political and stuff. cuz that's what i feel sometimes. and it irritates me. i believe a good bond btw the members can keep the dancesport spirit going. we all join the club cuz all of us enjoy dancing, so why can't we put more energy and effort into practising and enjoying the dance itself.

I DON'T CARE WHAT U PPL THINK IF U READ THIS POST. BUT THIS IS STRICTLY WHAT I FEEL AND WHAT I REALLY NEED TO VOICE OUT.

看到真人的飞轮海在我的面前出现，感觉兴奋到不行。

越看越帅，越看越可爱。

真想把他们都带回家。哈哈。

能够上台和他们有面对面地接触，握他们的手，为他们加油打气， 就能让我感到十分得开心。

即使是那短短的几秒，我还是觉得是值得的。

要是能够和他们认识那该有多好啊。

我想这都是每个粉丝抱着对偶像的希望吧。

但我倒是比较想到台湾去演偶像局。每次看幕后花絮都看起来很有趣。

哈哈。 也不知道我怎么回用华文来写部落格。

就写到这里了。因为这则段落花费了我满长的时间。

看来我得多多练习如何用汉语拼音来打字了！

哦！还有一点很重要。

那就是及时要追偶像，也不能荒废学业哦！

The 4day 3 night (23~26 march 2009) trip to Hong Kong with my classmates was great.
The weather was colder in somedays.
OH man, i missed the warm pack that we bought. its was so nice... haha.
it really kept our hands warm when it was freezing.

Supposedly it was a study trip. but seriously, we studied nth.
Well, except for the world asia expo tour. which we weren't listening cause the person speak so "loud" that only the ppl in the front could hear what she was saying.
and the only other study was the talk for the marketing for ocean park.

our trip was totally adult free, as in the lectures had no constrain over what we did.
other then the responsibility of our safety, they had as much fun as we do! :D

HK Disneyland was fun in a really cute way.
HK ocean park was fun in a trilling way.
a different kind of fun but we enjoyed both places as much.
just kinda sad that we missed this golden mickey musical at Disneyland and our last ride at ocean park was the best ride that we should have sat for a thousand and one times if not for the fact that we had to rush for the plane back.

hopefully we could go back again one day to catch all the rides we missed, watch all the musical we didden know, sit for all the performances by the animals at ocean park, and buy all those things that we regretted not buying.

Life's a blast! are you ready for it?!
~ been watching too much American next top model cycle 11.

Its holiday but i don't feel that it is holiday.
Other then stoning at home,
Playing facebook tetris till i broke skinny's record and no more friend's record to break,
Watching 射雕英雄传 and 霹靂MIT,
Staring at my com blankly don't know what to do with it,
I have been doing nth else other then basically rotting.

Somehow dance sport does not interest me that much anymore.
Maybe it cuz i have not been dancing in weeks.
Or cuz Karol is in China so i'm bored without her doing everything with me.
Or just simply cuz i have no dance partner and there is a competition coming up next week and blah blah blah...
I'm still thinking if i should go for dance later not.
Been feeling... idk... just wanna stone at home and not go for dance.

practically bored to tears.

OK, we went shopping at far east plaza. AGAIN

just went there like ytd and the trip again today made it boring.

It makes me appy except the stuns part......
Melvin made us do more stuns.

now got the carry and swing like donno what like that.

i know i'm kinda heavy but i will TRY to lose some weight.
(can be kinda hard cuz CNY is just round the corner...)

that's where me and skinny and ching eh faced for 2 whole days of work at the event.
(which was on saturday and sunday. 10th & 11th jan 09)
we had to give out 1 packet of food and a drink when a coupon is given to us.
(contain a chicken pie and sugar roll from polar puffs and cakes. quite nice.)
all the aunties so kia su sia. everything also want
give plain water also want.
haiz, too many things happen that i can type it out here.
but its kinda fun. and funny too.
will update this post with more details when i have time.
this is just to show ppl that i updated up blog!!! hahahahaha :P
OH, oh. and we repeated this sentence A LOT of time.
